A 3-star gourmet restaurant in Paris city centre
If you want to go to a gourmet restaurant in Paris city centre but wish to have dinner or lunch in a relax atmosphere, Lucas Carton and its Chef Alain Senderens are the perfect choice. The Chef who was once one of the three Michelin star Chefs in Paris, has decided that he did not want the stars any longer so that his gourmet restaurant in Paris city centre can become a more informal and pleasant place where waiters are friendly but more relaxed than in other gourmet restaurants in Paris.
In fact, it was a very pleasant surprise for us and we greatly enjoyed this gourmet restaurant in Paris city centre. The cuisine is refined and the Chef uses delicious ingredients for his creations such as Foie Gras with nuts and curry or zucchini flowers with crab. The combinations are brilliant and the results close to perfection.
Whether you choose meat or fish, you won't be disappointed and the duck with beetroot and wasabi I had was delicious. The courses are not only very savoury but the Chef of this gourmet restaurant in Paris city centre is also an artist in his own way as the plates are like paintings.
The desserts were the perfect conclusion to this amazing but relaxed dinner and we felt a little bit at home at the end of our meal. This gourmet restaurant in Paris city centre is the place to go, if you want to taste haute cuisine without feeling oppressed in a too pompous atmosphere. Here, everything is simpler, clearer and shall we say maybe even better.
If you wish to try other gourmet restaurants while you are in Paris, go to Pierre Gagnaire, the best restaurant in Paris, Le Meurice, Yannick Aleno's gourmet restaurant or Le Bristol a luxury restaurant in Paris. You can also try the Montparnasse 25 and Apicius.
