A 3-star gourmet restaurant in Valence

Anne Sophie Pic is now pretty famous in France as she is one of the few 3 Michelin star Chefs, the greatest distinction as far as French haute cuisine is concerned. Everything here seems different as the Chef is a woman and she has her own special way when talking about haute cuisine.

This gourmet restaurant in Valence is very colourful and perfectly furnished. The atmosphere is pleasant, chic and cosy ; the waiters and other guests are discreet. You do not go to this gourmet restaurant in Valence to be seen or to be in a fashionable place with celebrities, you go there to enjoy a perfect meal in a perfect place.

As a starter at this gourmet restaurant in Valence, we had blue lobster and Breton langoustines. Both courses were absolutely delicious and you quickly understand why Anne Sophie Pic is a 3 Michelin star Chef. I had a Breton turbot with steamed, crunchy broad beans, fresh almond and jasmine flower emulsion while my husband chose the gilthead bream in a crust of salt flavoured with aromatic spices vegetable tian revisited with mild garlic, vinaigrette dressing with lemon oil. Try one of the many desserts, they are all sumptuous and made by a very gifted Pastry Chef.

There are special menus and the courses may change in winter or summer time because of some ingredients which are seasonal. But don't worry about which season or month is best, you won't be disappointed anyway!

If you have some time, spend a night there in order to be able to have breakfast, lunch and dinner at this gourmet restaurant in Valence. The hotel is a marvellous place to stay and you will be able to discover the region which is a very beautiful part of France.

f you can't go to this gourmet restaurant, try Le Meurice or Le Bristol, two fantastic restaurants in Paris. If you want to find a nice terrace in Paris, go to Le Georges or Le Roland Garros in a very green environment.
