An excellent gourmet Japanese restaurant in a Novotel Paris

This gourmet Japanese restaurant is located inside a hotel and it is certainly one of the best Japanese restaurants in Paris. We like to go there when we feel like eating real Japanese food in Paris and we have never been disappointed. Another gourmet Japanese restaurant we know is Ozu ; it is also very good and located near the Tour Eiffel.

There are two parts: one for the gourmet restaurant and the other part where you can see the cooks. The best place to have a look at the sushis and sashimis and also at the different courses prepared just in front of you.

As far as the courses are concerned, everything is very refined and you will be surprised by the fine cuisine and the very beautiful courses. If you are vegetarian and you like tofu, this is the place to come as the soup with tofu cubes is delicious. The lobster and foie gras is an amazingly tasteful course and I had never eaten anything like the crab fritters before !

Be aware that you are in a gourmet Japanese restaurant with Japanese flavours and not in a Japanese restaurant for tourists. The flavours and textures may be surprising sometimes but you have the opportunity to enjoy real Japanese food which is not easy in Paris. The view is also very nice as you can see the Seine River from this gourmet Japanese restaurant.

The prices may seem a bit high, between 100 and 150 euros per person but this gourmet Japanese restaurant is worth the money it will cost you.

If you can't go to this Japanese restaurant, try Le Meurice or Le Bristol, two fantastic restaurants in Paris. If you want to find a nice terrace in Paris, go to Le Georges or Le Roland Garros in a very green environment.
