A 2-star typical French cuisine restaurant

Hélène Darroze is daughter and great-granddaughter of cooks and she is now one of the famous French Chefs with 2 Michelin stars. Hélène Darroze likes to cook typical French ingredients with unexpected flavours from spices or fresh seasonal vegetables. The Chef who comes from the south of France has a great respect for the land and she likes to cook noble ingredients such as Foie Gras or oysters in her typical French cuisine restaurant.

We went to this typical French cuisine restaurant after some of our friends' advice. He loves gourmet cuisine and as he knows we too enjoy restaurants such as L'Arpège or Taillevent, he advised us to go to Hélène Darroze. We were very pleased he did as we had a very good time and ate very refined gourmet cuisine. Beware of the prices especially for the wines and the Champagnes if you don't want your bill to overgrow very quickly! Apart from that, you will certainly have the most pleasant time and we advise you to go to this typical French cuisine restaurant during the week if you can, as it is less crowdie and you will wait longer for your different courses on a Saturday night for example. Choose the menu of this typical French cuisine restaurant rather than à la carte if you want your courses quicker, otherwise you may wait quite a long time between the courses, especially during the weekend.

Try the Foie Gras, which is perfectly cooked and exquisite. You can choose anything you like on the menu anyway as each course is close to perfection, no wonder Hélène Darroze has two Michelin stars !

If you wish to try other gourmet restaurants while you are in Paris, go to Pierre Gagnaire, the best restaurant in Paris, Le Meurice, Yannick Aleno's gourmet restaurant or Le Bristol a luxury restaurant in Paris. You can also try the Montparnasse 25 and Apicius.

Hélène Darroze, grand restaurant Paris 6 en français !
